  • Origin8 Fine Foods Evening – Friday 30 October 2008, 7pm-9pm

    Origin8 Deli Café in St Andrews Street, Cambridge, hosted a fine foods evening. The event was a celebration of local fine foods from the Anglia region, and included:

    - Wine from Chilford Hall
    - Canapes and Food made using all things local and delicious
    - A chance to meet and chat to some outstanding local suppliers who will demonstrate their products
    - Raffle

  • In October 2007 Hotel Felix in Cambridge offered extra courses for only £5.00

    Hotel Felix offered an extra course with lunch or dinner for only £5 for 2007's Pink Rose Dinner appeal. Award-winning chef, Ian Morgan, created some truly special dishes, some with a hint of pink to reflect the theme, and all with his signature style of cooking – modern English with a Mediterranean twist. Other offers included a glass of rose wine, a pink champagne sorbet between the starter and the main course and a pre dessert.

    On 26th October 2007 the Hotel Felix also hosted the special thank you lunch for the Pink Rose Dinner Committee, Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust and staff from the Cambridge Breast Unit.
