Get Involved

The Pink Rose Dinner appeal is:

  • A means of supporting women affected by breast cancer and their families, both in Cambridge and further afield
  • A way to become part of the ongoing efforts to find out more about the causes and treatment of the disease

COME ON BOARD and SHARE OUR SUCCESS

The Pink Rose Dinner appeal does not happen all in the same location – dinners and parties take place in private homes, but also in clubhouses, halls, offices, retirement homes, restaurants, pubs, and gardens, even on a netball court, and at Addenbrooke's Hospital.

Parties can be small and intimate or huge and noisy, or anywhere in between. We've had simple drinks, cocktails, tea parties and coffee mornings too, hosted by those for whom a dinner is harder to organise. Volunteer hosts give their friends dinner, and the guests bring a donation for the cause. It's as simple as that. There are specially-designed invitations, which hosts send to their friends, Pink Rose Dinner donation envelopes, and special prize draw raffle tickets*.

All these are available free from the Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust office, telephone 01223 217757 or contact act@addenbrookes.org.uk.

Pink Rose Dinner thank you cards can be bought from the ACT office.

*Cellini jewellers in Cambridge has again donated a necklace for a special prize draw.
